We were working regularly with Emma prior to lockdown and were due to launch a singing group led by Emma. This is on hold at present.
We are pleased Emma will join us for a sing-a-long at the Friendship Group’s 4th birthday celebrations on 14th July.
A song from Emma
Emma has recorded a special version of one of our favourite tunes – Tony Chestnut – just for us. This song helps brain and body coordination.
Emma Bond (BMus Hons, PGCE, MA Education) – Freelance musician and Director of Sing Together LTD and Nightingale Music CIC, is committed to bringing the community together in song and music.
Emma’s project, ‘The Singing Hour‘ (Sing Together Ltd) aims to jumpstart your day. “Charity speakers, theatre producers, and drama school lecturers form a team that bring a different flavour to each show. Professional singers from all over the globe stop by to entertain you. The Singing Hour will keep you singing from the safety of your own homes. What’s not to like?”
Emma also set up ‘Sing Together in the Community‘ (Nightingale Music CIC) to “provide free access to music classes for some of the more vulnerable members of the local community and beyond. Operating as a non-profit organisation Sing Together in the Community relies completely on donations, grants and awards.”
