It was another very hot day. The heat didn’t put members off with 44 coming along to join in. We also welcomed Tracey, a student nurse with Oxleas, who run the local Memory Service, who came along to see what happens at the group.
Tilly joined us for the first time today and was an instant hit. You can hear samples of Tilly’s singing at the group here. She will be back in September.
Creative Companion Collaborations were back with us again today. Members took the opportunity to have a relaxing hand massage.
Yvonne, who runs Creative Companion Collaborations wore this beautiful outfit, just perfect for a summer day.
There was less dancing than usual due to the heat, though everyone enjoyed Tilly’s performance. She played lots of songs that had people singing along. Several members took the opportunity to listen from the garden benches outside the music venue as there was a little bit of a breeze.
The Reflections Friendship Group is next at Shrewsbury House on 7th July 2026 at 1pm when Jamie will perform for us.
